New Year. Still Me?
Share
As we roll into 2025, I am noticing something different this year. Normally, I hear people say, 'New Year, New Me!' but this year, the language seems to have shifted. I am hearing more people saying what they will honor and keep from 2024—what was beautiful, what was meaningful, and what they have already achieved. It is a perspective that I have never really considered before, but I’m embracing and loving it! Major growth mindset shit, which I am down with.
Honoring the best parts of 2024 means carrying forward the things that worked—the habits, the traditions, the moments of discipline—and building on them with intention.
In 2025, I will still be me. I will still have many areas to grow and things to work on, as I will for the rest of my life, but I will also honor what I have achieved, what I appreciate about myself, and the effort I have put into becoming a better version of myself. To get specific on ya, I will honor the dedication I have invested in my vegan art for the animals. I will honor the work I have put into myself through new routines of strength training, cardio, and macro tracking. In the end, this all helps the animals because, as vegans, we serve as living billboards for their cause.
So, as we step into the new year, I ask: What do you honor about yourself from 2024?
...
Yes
